It was a perfect way to end a brilliant honeymoon! We got married in Dec last year but waited til April to have our honeymoon as my husband is a teacher. We had such an amazing time, we both love snorkelling so the house reef was perfect for us. We wished it had been more colourful with lots of diff... More

We are most probably an untypical kind of guest on a 5 star island since our interest is mainly under water. I have always heard from friends that combining perfect diving and an exclusive luxury resort is impossible. This is not the case at Hideaway. The reefs are in a very good condition and the marine life is healthy one... More

This was our second trip to Island Hideaway, having enjoyed it so much last year we really never considered going anywhere else. We stayed in a Dhonakulhi residence, which was very private, and had all the facilities we needed, but was on the lagoon side of the island. If we go back, I think we'd choose a Raamba or Funa,... It is with sadness, while we wait at the Air conditioned Hanimaadhoo Lounge awaiting our Domestic flight back to Male International to leave Island Hideaway whilst our Butler Ali checks us in, that we felt it was the best time to write our review. This is the first time we have ever done this, but felt this resort truly deserved... More

All thats been said before is true. We have spent a fantastic time in Island Hideaway with our 2 Kids aged 7 and almost 9. The flight and arrival to Island hideaway will take a few hours more than to the other resorts but after talking to many other guests from different resorts and having been in Reethi Rah by... More

In short, the island is great, the villas are excellent, the food is good most of the time, but the service could be much better, especially considering the class of the hotel and its association with the SLH chain. Myself, my wife, and our 5-year-old daughter spent 10 nights on the island in Fubruary. This is our second visit to... More

it was our hoheymoon trip. We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect: service, beach, scuba diving, food... The villas are isolated from eachother wich gives the feeling to be almost almone.

After travelling for 43 hours due to the snow at heathrow it was a very pleasant sight to finally see the beautiful island of Dhonakulhi. We were met at the jetty by the management team (Susan and Jan) who welcomed us and promptly dealt with the necessities and got us to our wonderful villa as quickly as possible. The Dhonakulhi... I only gave it a 4 because the service is not up to par with Four seasons or Aman resorts. Overall, a great family beach resort and one of the best house reef snorkeling in Maldives. We would recommend it to everyone! We had a great time there! BUT they are building 70+ new water villas (according to the staff,... More

We had a very good holiday on this resort. We came here to relax and especially in the hope to see a lot of all sorts of fish during snorkeling. This was all accomplished. We stayed in a funa pavillion and stepping out of our garden immediately into the sea there were a lot of different species of fish. We... More
