One of the three Hotels in Karlskoga - the others being the excellent Bofors and the tired Karlskoga Hotel and Conference centre. Positives are central location opposite the main square, Harry's Bar & Restaurant, friendly staff, nice communal areas esp reception, Gym/Sauna/tanning beds, free wifi, free snacks/drinks in reception and billiard table. This hotel was perfect for what it was: a place to stay during a business trip. The bed was quite soft (it had a mattress topper), and the room was is pretty good shape. I had to ask for soap at the front desk, but I think it was a simple mistake that it wasn't in the room. Wi-Fi was... More

Sweden is expensive, so it's unfair to make specific comparisons. The room was OK, the food in the bar pretty good, the local beer was very nice, breakfast was a bit bland. Internet access was extra (there's a McDonald's nearby - go there instead), as was parking, though this was in a secure garage. Staff efficient and spoke perfect English.... More
