We went to Dingle Peninsula for our anniversary and the Anchor was one of the highlights of our trip. The room was clean and well-presented, they had free Wi-Fi and a family room open to guests with a DVD and book library for guests to use. Breakfast was a traditional Irish breakfast which was delicious and plenty of food. Perhaps... More

I stayed here with a friend on after our first day of walking the Dingle Way. Arrived tired but happy to see our luggage had arrived without a problem and Brian was nice enough to carry my very (very!) heavy bag up the flight of stairs to our room. don't think I would have managed it after a long but... Rooms very comfortable, spacious, clean and well decorated. Big comfortable bed. Soap, shampoo and towels are provided in the bathroom. The innkeeper is a very kind person. We had dinner in the B&B and the food was excellent. The breakfast was also very good. The living room is also convenient with many interesting books and DVD. Free wifi ! We... More

My friend and I came to hike the Dingle Way and booked this place because of all the favorable reviews. After a long first day of walking, which included a long stretch into the town of Annascaul, this place was exactly what we needed to rest our weary, and somewhat shell-shocked limbs! Brian was a lovely host, and our room... More

Spent a night here. Great value and Brian was a great host. The rooms were excellent and the breakfast was sumptuous. They did our laundry for 5 euros. Strongly recommend this place.

A friendly welcome, comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast. Sad that we had to leave this perfect B&B!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Old Anchor Inn for two nights and it turned out to be a real gem during our journey. The hosts made us feel so welcome, the breakfast was phenomenal and the perfect thing to get you started on a good days hike. The accomodation is homely, clean and subtle. We enjoyed staying... More

I recently stayed in The Old Anchor Inn in Annascaul on recomendation from friends while cycling the Dingle Peninsula. It proved to be the perfect place to rest my weary limbs. I wasn't too sure of the best cycle routes to take but the lady working there was able to mark my map and show me the most suitable places... More

We only stayed the one night but it's definitely a great place to stay if you wish to explore the Dingle Peninsula. The rooms were clean and tidy, had a good common room with guide books and dvd's etc and also free WiFi. Breakfast was good and they also do fantastic pizzas! Our hosts Brian and Beata were very welcoming... More

My wife and I booked into The Old Anchor Inn not expecting too much but we walked away well rested, well fed and wishing we had longer to stay. Accommodation was simple but very clean and very comfortable. We curled up in bed and watched a movie from the large DVD library on site - that was after savouring the... More
