  "I am not used to write comments but Villa Urso is one of the best place we have ever been. My boyfriend and I have spent 5 days in Sicily and we felt at home from the very first moment in this beautiful B&B. Tullio, the owner, and his family, Alessandra and Vittoria, warmly welcomed us as friends an..."d they gave us every kind of information we needed during our staying. Our room was big enough, comfortable and really clean. From our bed we could hear waves and any other noise. The breakfast was very rich and it could satisfy every desire. Fresh orange juice and homemade jams were simply incredible, in particular mandarine and kiwi are unforgettable (we bought 2 cans). The B&B is on the beach, walking distance from restaurants and few minutes from the centre by car, that can be easily parked in the inner garden.   "Lovely BB in Avola, very good starting point to see lots of attractions in East Sicily (Cava Grande Cassibile, Noto, Vendicari, Syracuse etc). A bit away from the city center (might be a drag if you don't have a car). Staff is most welcoming and friendly. They helped us with all kinds of questions a..."nd problems!! Whatever you might have heard people complaining about breakfast in Sicily (or Italy) but in Terrazza it was excellent. Inviting smell of fresh cinnamon croissants gets to your senses as you walk down the stairs to your breakfast room (which you might also have in a beautiful palm tree shaded garden with views over the sea).   "We arrived in Avola in May looking for some peace and quiet after a hectic couple of days in Catania - and we found it. With an idyllic garden - palm trees and bananas - right next to the sea, the Terrazza sul Mare is run by a charming family, who all partcipate and who do everything to make you fee..."l comfortable and at home. The breakfast, all locally sourced and mostly organic, is simply delicious. The rooms are spotless and those facing the sea with balconies are great. Best of all, the family, who are full of good advice and seem genuinely interested in their guests. This is an ideal sport from which to explore the baroque gems of the south - Ragusa, Noto, Modica etc as well as the amazing Siracusa.
