I suggested to my friends that we go back there, 18 years later. Our first night was horrendous - we were allocated a garden co..."ttage which, like all the other reviews, needed serious renovation and care. Maybe even some new bedding perhaps! After discussing this with the hotel front desk staff, with no questions asked, we were upgraded to the hotel. The next 4 days were awesome! Our views from the hotel were amazing, the staff were extremely accommodating and went out of the way for us and the food was FANTASTIC! There were 10 of us and we all agreed that the food was some of the best we have had (not sure why the other reviews may say otherwise!?!). The facilities need maintenance but I was assured that this was next on the list, to get the hotel up to scratch. We were unable to play bowls, tennis, volle... " More >
