In particular, Adrian Fautt, the head concierge, was an incredible, diligent 'fixer', managing to secure space in an excellent sushi restaurant at no notice at all and then a table in the fully-booked hotel restaurant during a downpour. Yes, the Park Hyatt Tokyo is a stretch away from most things that one might want to visit, including the underground station. Our room had a great view of metropolitan Tokyo to the east. Clean and comfortable rooms. However, hallway had some sign of water leakag..."e. Restaurants in the hotel are much more expensive compared to more affordable and good restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. After all, Shinjuku is full of excellent and affordable restaurants around. We ate sushi and sea food two successive nights at a sea food restaurant along the walk way next to the Hotel. Front, bell captains, and concierge were helpful. Mini-mart shop in the hotel was great, offering very economical selection of foods and soft drinks. " More >
