We were rather disappointed though, that there was practically no staff able to speak french and there was no menu card in french either. There might not be many french speaking visitors, but those few would appreciate an appropriate welcome. Take care when choosing your restaurant. The one on the first floor is MORE expensive than the top floor restaurant (Prosecco above 9.- below 12.-!!). For visitors from abroad - please try swiss specialities in a restaurant elsewhere. Raclette served there is NOT what Swiss consider as a real raclette. Rooms with a great view, breakfast generous and yummy. Though the coffee was not to our taste.   "My husband and I stayed at Nira Alpina for 6 days in late March to early April this year. The hotel is easy to find and is in a lovely setting right next to the Corvatsch Talstation Surlej. Our rental car had a transmission failure on our way to the hotel. Ioannis at the front desk was very kind to..." offer to contact the rental car company to arrange checking/pick up the car and the subsequent calls for a replacement car which is a great relief to us as usually it is difficult to get through and could be very time consuming, also due to the fact we do not speak German. The rooms all have great open view of the mountains, a big balcony, very modern setting and very clean. The internet also worked fast and easy to connect. We also enjoyed the view in the top floor dining room for our breakfasts and dinners. The facilities in the spa is very good and relaxing and very clean.
