The large cracks between the floorboards mean that you get a certain amount of flying insect flow, but there's a good mosquito net. Beds are a bit hard, but acceptable. There's a decent hammock on the porch, and the place is quiet and tranquil day and night. The fans are just adequate to cool the room at night. Food in the restaurant is good and varied. The green curry is especially good. There are a couple of other places to eat down the mostly-undeveloped beach. The beach is brownish sand due to the proximity of some muddy river mouths on the mainland, and as a result, the visibility is poor in the water. Don't expect this to be a snorkeling destination... Food was reasonable but you have the option to walk a little way along the beach for a nice evening meal. Booking proceedure (we pre booked) and pick up from ferry was faultless. The owner Dila and her staff are very friendly, we had some great 4 days, spent just relaxing with a book, snorkeling, walking on the beach, meeting locals and other guests, enjoying the nice and at that..." time cheap food, Dila even took us to the small island across by boat :) Christmas was spend with a huge buffet with loads of different foods for free especially made for the guests, we all spent Christmas together, we danced, ate and played music until the lights went out.
