  "My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at Eagle Nook Resort. We immediately fell in love with this luxurious gem set amidst breathtaking wilderness. Later other whales..." came to the large bay in front of the dining room to entertain us for dinner and then again for breakfast the next day. The wildlife alone makes this a very special place. The staff is that perfect blend of professional without being solicitous, while making you feel welcome and part of the family. We stayed in one of the cottages.   "Great base for visiting the Broken Group by kayak"
  "We stayed at Sechart for 4 nights while we kayaked in the Broken Group. We were fortunate to have great weather and calm seas. The area is fantastic for kayaking, and we saw humpbacks, sea lions, seals, bears, eagles, as well as lots of other sea life. Sechart provides basic accommodation, ..."but it's luxury compared with camping on the islands, which is what many people do. You can easily kayak to the inner islands and, if adventurous, make it out to the outer ones. Sechart does offer a water taxi to collect and take kayakers out and back (for a price). Sechart provides comfortable rooms with a sink. There are communal bathrooms with 2 flush toilets and 2 showers in each. If the lodge is crowded, there could be a queue. The lodge provides hearty cooked breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We ate very well. They provide large sandwich lunches for kayakers. There's ample water that's drawn and filtered from a local lake.
