  "what a treat !!!! from the first minute minute we arrived at Barbiel to the last "goodbye" hugs, our stay was just fantastic. Tracy and Tim are wonderful people, and so reliable ! the bedrooms are very comfortable (I want the same bed in my house !!!!), especially in summer time, since they are hal..."f-way in the ground, they stay very cool. Barbiel is the ideal place to relax and disconnect from everything. Quiet and peace are the masters ! just the birds , and sometimes the sheep hurd passing by can maybe break the silence....on clear nights, the milky way is at your fingertips ! Tracy also cooks very well , her fruit jams are excellent , not to forget the delicious tomatoes from the garden. So make sure you order a meal during your stay. Tim knows the area "like his pocket" !!! he will give you all the hints to get to places . And I shouldn't forget NINA , the sweetest dog ever !!! Just Go to Barbiel !!! you will not regret it !   "Lovely, peaceful B&B – situated in a tranquil, picturesque setting. Situated comfortably between Toulouse & Albi, convenient for exploring both of these lovely & interesting cities, yet we found it so peaceful, we wound up bringing back picnic-type food and eating at their outside picnic table a co..."uple of evenings. We stayed in late May, and were able to use the (cool) yet refreshing pool. Christiane and Frederic were charming hosts, full of travel suggestions and patient with my mediocre French (they speak excellent English, but I appreciate the opportunities to practice). The breakfast was excellent, and offered a couple of more options than the traditional French B&B fare (charming as it is at first, after 2-3 weeks, one does get tired of croissants, rolls and even more bread for breakfast).
