Admittedly they are doing some great things, but they need to put as much importance on providing a good service to their customers. We stayed at the Ranch. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable with nice rocking chairs on the small balcony. Although hairdryer was nearly off the wall and there was a loud rattling in the wall at night. On arrival we had lunch in the 49er restaurant. It was great. Fresh salad and excellent service from a waitress who hustled and bustled with a cheery attitude. However dinner was very poor. My meat loaf, potatoes and veg were all nearly cold. Waiter took it away and returned about 5 mins later with same plate of food. We booked a smaller room, but were pleasantly surprised to get the deluxe room with two beds and a tv. The room was spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable and the aircon great...". It was 47C and stinking hot. I totally agree with the previous reviewer. Restaurant on site. Staff very friendly. Same for general store. Limited food options, but great facilities.
