We spent five days in total relaxation pampered by friendly staff, spectacular beach, all the food and drink..."s you could want. I enjoyed the fact that this is a resort for grown folks- no fraternity boys or obnoxious behavior even with all that alcohol available. The beach was pristine at all times and if you were in the mood for an excursion off the resort there were many official and unofficial operators to take you. We did boat tours to 7 mile beach, jet-skiing, day trip to Dunn's river falls and clubbing in Negril town without any problems. I will say internet was inconvenient and costly and phone calls were very expensive so don't plan to be in contact with anyone. I would go back in a heartbeat and feel free to bring partner, parents, children (including toddlers) of all ages. " More >

We received a genuine, warm welcome from the front desk, (Tanya and later Tamar) who attended to our every request so politely and efficiently. In no time we felt right at home; I noticed the hotel's atmosphere entices people at the resort to be friendly, mingle and become quickly acquainted. At breakfast the actual owners, Ann and Steven, would greet us and the other guests and what I found truly unique and refreshing was how sincerely interested they were in our vacation experience and were always quick to help or assist with planning site seeing trips or just giving general information on the local activities.   "We just returned from our third visit to Couples Negril and it was just as good as the past two!! We were in room 7202, which, if you want quiet at night, is probably not the room for you. It is right behind the main dining room which has the band that plays till 10:30 or so a few nights....but it..." is central to everything as you are right in the middle of the resort. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was one of the refurbished rooms - new sink, new floor tiles, new AC and some new pieces of furniture. Is it the Ritz...no, but it is clean and comfortable and we had no issues. One review mentioned black mold on the walls...I specifically looked for this and found none. There is black on some of the walls, but I think it is the way the paint is oxidizing rather than it being a fungus. It's been like that since we've been going there.
