  "I have stayed at this place to years in a row. They are very very nice, always giving you advise or just a big smile. The price can not be beat on the island, and it is a great location. Rooms could be slightly cleaner but there still pretty good. Will definitely stay here again and again!"

  "We enjoyed our five day/four night stay at the Emeral Beach Resort. The hotel was clean, beds are very comfortable and all rooms have an ocean view. The restaurant is fine for lunch, but we chose to go into town for dinner. There is a convenience store and grocery store within walking distance, so..." we stocked the mini refrigerator with water, juice, snacks and breakfast items. There's a $1 Safari taxi stop about 1/4 mile up the road. The Safari taxis run all over the island, but we used them to get to and from downtown and Havensight Mall areas. Routes other than the main route downtown are confusing. A regular taxi is $6 per person. We negotiated a lower taxi rate to Red Hook and ferried over to St. John for a day. Ferry fares from Red Hook are only $12 round trip. You can also negotiate prices with the water sports vendor on site. We paid $5 for floating mats instead of $10. Great hotel if you are looking for a good value. " More >
