They told you all about the hotel. Had warm cookies on arrival, free Internet and a good complimentary breakfast in the morning. The rooms were clean and well kept and the bed was comfortable (we stay in lots of hotels for work and the beds are generally an issue). The also permitted my husband to do a late check out as it was mid week and I wasn't done till 4 pm. Would definitely recommend. " More >

  "Just booked this great little Travelodge for a third stay in Kamloops at the end of June for the July 1 long weekend. Our first two visits were stop overs on a trip to Radium Hot Springs in May so that we could visit with our son and my wife's brother and his family. Newly refurbished from top to bo..."ttom, the rooms are comfortable, the staff just great (including a phone call just after we checked in to make sure everything was OK) and the location allowed us easy access to visit relatives by car or simply walk downtown a few blocks for dinner with our son. In fact. when he dropped by to go to dinner with us the staff gave him a parking pass so he could leave his vehicle in the parking lot and allow all of us to enjoy a leisurely walk to one of his favourite restaurants for dinner. It was an easy decision to book the Travelodge again for our upcoming weekend in Kamloops !! Oh, and need I add the the cost was definitely great value for dollars spent. " More >

  "We spent a night at this hotel during a stopover on a Rocky Mountaineer trip and were pleasantly surprised as a previous Sandman experience had been less than memorable. The hotel is a little outside from the town centre and the outside appearance is rather dated. However, our room on the third leve..."l of a block adjoining the reception, was first class. The room was completely renovated with an attractive modern décor. It was very spacious and had a complete kitchen with a new fridge, micro-wave and full oven. The bathroom was roomy, modern and very clean.There were large wardrobes with full length mirrors, a modern TV, and two double beds which were very comfortable. It would be ideal for travellers wanting self-catering. Despite overlooking the car park, we found it very quiet. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The Denny Restaurant adjoining the hotel was fine for a basic meal. We would happily stay there again. " More >
