The rooms are furnished in the style that befits the building and if you're lucky enough to get the "Graham" room (bridal suite) with the fireplace and hot tub, you'll feel as pampered as Queen! The other rooms are beautiful too and named after local families. The "Sato" room was named after my Aunt and Uncle, who used to work this "house" and property many years ago. The beds feel like you're on a cloud! The linen is exquisite and the duvets are sooo luscious! Breakfast is fresh and homemade and if you're lucky, the Fletcher's will sit down with you and chat like you're family! Such a wonderful place to visit! " More >

  "I stayed at this Hotel for 4 night in May 2013 and will stay again upon our return to Canada. The Hotel is very clean, has very friendly staff and all the amenities you need within walking distance. They have a nice pool and hot tub as well as a gym. There is also ample parking."

I choose it because it is possible to sleep with good ventilation, as the patio door opens onto a private balcony, and there is a good pool. The rooms are mostly quite adequate, though the building has aged to become more of a midrange hote..."l than the business hotel it apparently was in its youth. Amenities--the bathroom, furnishings etc--are classic good quality though clearly not new and sometimes downright dated, Cleanliness is good. There is good natural light from floor-to-ceiling patio doors. In my experience, problems (eg need for plumbing maintenance) are dealt with promptly on request. The staff is helpful and civil. Breakfast offers a wide variety (sometimes not all equally fresh) but is not available before 7 a.m., so doesn't accommodate early birds. The housemade granola is worth checking out. Some rooms can be very noisy: rooms with a door to the adjoining room get you sounds of snoring and TV at night. ... " More >
