  "This beautiful little inn is a hidden gem off the beaten path. We are regulars in the eastern townships but rarely venture past Sherbrooke and had never been to Ham-Sud (Ham-South). We arrived late and the dining room was buzzing. The inn has a well known restaurant to locals that focuses on (ver..."y) local products. The chef came out of the kitchen to check-us in quickly and to let us know that our table was ready whenever we wanted to come down to eat. The inn is charming and very nicely decorated. It feels like a cozy and warm cottage in the countryside. Since we were there in late April and spring is late, we did not see the gardens in full bloom but we did appreciate the beauty of the site (little ponds and creek).   "We decided to book a chalet here for a few days and use it as the midway point between Mt Tremblant and Mt Saint Sauver. The location of the chalets are great and they are about 20mins away from Mt Tremblant. The property and lodge was really nice. On arrival the staff was very friendly, accomoda..."ting and the chalets were easy to find. The chalet was very clean and comfortable. It was also surprisingly spacious. To improve the chalets, they only need some minor updating. The furniture is a bit tired and the decor is dated. The hot tube was fantastic and we used it a lot. It was very nice coming back too, after spending the day at Tremblant. It was very quiet and the views from the hot tube made the evenings special. There are lots of winter activities near by for the kids. We would go back. " More >
