  "Just arrived back from the Atlantica Kalliston at Crete. A hotel just taken over by Atlantica. The hotel was lovely - we were given a beach villa for 3 days upon arrival and then allocated a swim up room (we had booked a sea view but we have a level 3 loyalty card with Atlantica so get an upgrade ..."when possible). The main restaurant had a lovely setting and it wasn't noisy the way some main restaurants can be. We went to the Wine Cellar Al a Carte restaurant which was lovely but very expensive. We also went to the Italian which was complimentary to us - that was also nice however we ordered lamb cooked medium but it was more like rare! The evening entertainment was not good and they only have the lobby bar to sit in so you cannot get away from the entertainment if you don't like it. The resident duo were good though. They have an outside area but if cold or raining is of no use. Overall we enjoyed our stay but as previous person stated the prices are now rising and would I want... " More >

  "I really wanted to write a review in response to the one below - I can't think of anything more unlikely than a member of the Ammos team being anything less than utterly charming! Myself my husband and my 3 and a half year old son had a wonderful week there and returned home only on Saturday. Fro..."m the front desk staff, to the cleaners, to the restaurant staff (and the brilliant nursery teacher - offering 2 hours of complimentary crèche each day) everyone was helpful, kind, and beyond tolerant of my somewhat lively little boy! We stayed in the sea view deluxe as a treat, a great view and not to be missed. Don't be put off - and especially if you have children - this is one of the friendliest places you could stay in.
