Wondefful propperty lakeside, quiet, very comfortable rooms, this property speaks relaxation. Beautiful tea service by the fireplace or wrap yourself in a blanket and have it on the spectacular patios that are all around the property, dinner is outstanding beautiful tastes and presentation and in the morning look forward to an amazing breakfast.   "It was an adventure driving into North Hatley at night. However, the directions were good and we were pleasantly surprised as we approached in the darkness. Ahead of us were 2 well lit magnificently well kept buildings making up the Auberge. The Inn Keeper immediately made us feel at home. She has a..." great sense of humour and seems to enjoy the interactions with her guests. As she showed us to our rooms we could see how fastidious she and her family who help out on the property were. Everything was in its place and the décor was definitely from the local. The room was relatively large, the bed excellent and the private bathroom was well equipped. As impressive was the immaculately grounds in this country setting. Breakfast was special. Each morning was different but equally impressive. Whether one is travelling through or has come to this spot to relax and enjoy you won't be disappointed. I strongly recommend that you ask for the "menu degustation". You will be served with dishes that will blow your mind, accompanied by great wines from all over the world. This menu changes very often. Tonight we had lobster, wapiti (elk calf), scallops, tuna tartare, and two desserts. Wines were from Spain, Italy, South Africa, France and Quebec. Everything was divine, well served and well explained by the waiting staff. By the way, the rooms are also nice and the location is great.
