  "We spent a week diving at God's Pocket, and it was a treat. Very comfortable resort, and the dive boat is very nice. A lift to get back on board! While the viz was not up to its usual clarity, the diving was quite nice. Lots of marine life, and the dive at Turret Rock in Nakwakto Rapids was excel..."lent. The red Nakwakto gooseneck barnacles are amazing. Spent an afternoon photographing hummingbirds: what a treat! The only surprise was the tea colour of the tap water. High in tannins, but the taste was fine. Bill and Annie are super hosts, and very much enjoyed staffers Gail (chef) and Anouk (jack of all trades and comedienne). " More >

  "My husband and I stayed at the Quarterdeck Inn for 3 days over a weekend, as an anniversary trip. We brought our Shih Tzu Lhasa Apso cross Berni with us so were anxious to have a happy experience. We were not disappointed - when my husband called for a reservartion, the clerk assured him that we wou..."ld have a lovely pet friendly room with a view. Our room was on the second floor right by the stairs to outside exit. There was a lovely pet mat on the floor, 2 pet bowls and even dog treats - we were so pleased as so many places maroon pet owners in dingy rooms in the worst location. This room was huge, fresh, bright and had a great harbour view. The hotel has a nice pub and a liquor store. We highly recommend this hotel! " More >
