We travelled with elderty parents (in their 80s) and a teenage son and we all had a great time! We spent many a happy meal in the beautiful dinning room at the huge table. The bedrooms are all large but also cosily decorated, and the bathrooms are fitted out beautifully. We found lots to do in the area - walking, cycling etc and Le Mans is a great city to walk round with plenty of good restaurants. All in all highly recommend both the area and Le Chateau. " More >

  "We spent two nights at this small but comfortable hotel with a view on the old city .As usual at Ibis the rooms are small and the toilet is in the bathroom , you only get two towels and no facecloth but the bedding is comfortable and cleanliness is high . The staff are pleasan..."t and you feel welcome . Breafast is decent though the bacon and eggs are as usual and unfortunately almost cold . We had dinner at this place and the food was decent but the service was a bit too relaxed and fumbly The real asset of this place is it's location at the foot of and a few steps away from an outstanding medieval city with its historic Roman walls ,medieval steets and remarkable cathedral and so far not the tourist magnet it should be , to enjoy before it's too late !   "Modern bar and restaurant area but rooms could do with upgrading. Outside pool isnt heated but lovely having a drink in the courtyard by the stream. Secure car park, air conditioning didn't seem to affect the temperature of the room. Friendly staff"
