Dinner was as well, with a somewhat limited menu. We often enjoyed a glass of wine or beer in the lower level lounge, which was very nice. On one weekend evening, late at night, it got loud and rowdy in the lounge area - mostly local people, I think. Management responded to that issue. Budget options are limited in Torshavn, and this guest house has the huge advantage of being at the bottom of the hill less than a 10 minute walk from the harbour / bus station (the bus / f..."erry station has lockers where excess luggage can be left for those on short stop-overs). The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The en-suite bathroom small but clean with a good powerful shower. Breakfast was a plentiful self service buffet served in the modern dining room.
