  "Just returned from a wonderful trip to Salzburg and stayed here for 3 nights. Three of us travelled together and we were given a big room with double bedroom, as well as a living area which had a double bed in, along with a table, fridge and TV - 345 euros for the three of us including breakfast. ..."We arrived in Salzburg by train and I would suggest getting a taxi to the hotel, it costs about 7 euros. We arrived a few hours before check in but were allowed to leave our bags. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is only a short walk into the main part of town - once you get your bearings Salzburg is an easy place to get around, nothing is too far away. Breakfast was good with cereal, cold meats, bacon, scrambled egg, breads, yogurt, fruit etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again if I returned to Salzburg - that is a strong possibility as it's a beautiful place!   "Clean and spacious room, but elevator and breakfast buffet food are disappointing"
  "I commend this hotel if you like spacious hotel rooms. The interior is clean and we especially liked how we can open the windows to let the fresh air in particularly when summer is getting near. The rooms are also cleaned well. Downside is that the elevator is the slowest we've ever seen in all ..."hotels we've been to. We're not joking. Some of our group mates would just use the stairs even if its 4 flights down and they'd still beat the elevator to it. Trust me, you wouldn't want to use the elevator if you're in a hurry; time is very important nowadays. Another concern we have is our breakfast buffet. The food isn't much. For cooked food you're only given 2 choices -- sausages and scrambled eggs. The rest are your choice of bread, salad, cereals, etc. Typical American breakfast. We didn't touch our food anymore because they were oily and buttery. Other than the 2 main concerns above, the location is good. We don't like staying in city center anyway. This hotel in particular is a great choice, includes a hearty and varies buffer breakfast, lift and free wi-fi... albeit it's a 15 min walk to the old town--BUT gave us the chance to walk into town ..."along the river daily. My family and I would have missed this beautiful and relaxing part of daily Salzburg life had we stayed in old town. For those traveling by train as we were, this location is 2 blocks from the station! Really a great location...super friendly staff too which is always appreciated. Don't miss Cafe Bazar--a must!
