"My college-aged son and I recently spent a relaxing night at this resort. Slightly off the beaten track in Accra's Central Region, the secluded setting was a perfect antidote to the stresses of Ghana's roads and urban areas. Our room was clean, everything worked (including the AC), and the roomy b..."athroom had plenty of very hot water. The food at the restaurant was good and the service excellent - the staff even let us play our music over the sound system at dinner. My only disappointment was the hotel television only picked up four channels. Since I didn't bring a laptop to take advantage of the advertised wi-fi, I felt a little isolated without access to a news channel.

"We have been to Sisimbo twice, the first time over a year ago. It's great to see a place that has got better over time. It still has the wonderful beach that goes on forever, and palm trees providing lots of shade across the resort. The rooms have been well maintained and are comfortable. "We went to Sissimbo on a 2 family retreat en route to Axim. after the traffic hassle and bussle of getting there for part of the road, it was like a calm that rolled off of the skin the moment we got out of the vehicles and headed towards the rooms!
The stretch of beach is beautiful!
the food ..."is generally good. The waiters and hotel staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. Just one word of advice : make sure to ask the waiter to repeat the order taken just to avoid confusion and misunderstanding.
we enjoyed wading in the waves all day and playing board games in the evening. A great trip close to Accra--will definitely come back!
