  "Spent a week in a 1 bedroom pavilion at the Pearle while mixing some work and extra few days relaxation time. The significant positive was the private courtyard layout with good outdoor BBQ and outdoor dining and spacious indoor kitchen-dining-lounge. If you have to work while in Broome then the Pav..."ilion option is by far more effective than a room at CBR for about the same cost. Being fully self contained, with laundry etc makes it easy to simply purchase some groceries and drinks from the Woolworths near the airport (v.good range) and self cater at much lower costs than eating out. As for many of the resorts (Billi and Franginpani nearby) the main negative is that you are in the Cable Beach suburb not on Cable Beach. These resorts are 300m as the crow flies but must walk almost 2km around local roads to actually get to the beach and the nearest restaurants/cafes are 1.5km away - it would be nice if the resort offered some free or low cost bicycles as part of the pavilion package. ...   "I've just returned from my third stay at Beaches of Broome. This modern property offers great facilities including theatre room, internet room, pool table, good sized swimming pool and bar. Private rooms are available as well as small dorms (3 bed) to larger dorms. Beaches of Broome is a little b..."it more expensive than some of the backpackers around town ($45pn for a bed in high season) but that extra money will buy you a much better property. Plus you'll get a decent night sleep! A short walk to Cable Beach and cafes/bars, Zoo Cafe and Willee Creek Pearls right next door, bus out the front into town, and lots of parking areas provided.
