We purchased dual tickets at the castle which allowed us to make entry reservation for the cave. Only downsides were a used shampoo / body wash packet left in shower on our arrival and my husband felt the table busser at breakfast made too much noise clanking dishes (not enough to bother me - he has sensitive ears).
