  "Absolutely loved this place. Older, rustic hotel with lots of character. Staff is the most personable, helpful and friendly of all our travels- esp. Nicki and Marie. A staff member stops by your breakfast table every morning to give touring tips depending on the weather. Very good breakfast- bacon, ..."eggs, delicious yogurt -and coffee and tea available all day. View is just eye popping- our spacious, corner room balcony faced the Staubbach Falls with the majestic Alps looming in the background- truly awe inspiring and one of the great views in the world. We had no problem with water pressure or space, but we had booked a larger room. Free wifi and parking. convenient to train station. Great place to eat is at Camping Jungfrau a short, scenic walk away- complete with sheep and bells. Good reasonable food and a relaxing atmosphere- fun to see all the young people. " More >

  "This "hostel" totally exceeded my expectations. I was initially unhappy at paying so much for a hostel, but was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. This so called hostel was actually better than most 4 star hotels in my opinion. There was a laundry room (expensive though) and a large kitchen, where we cooked everyday since food in Lauterbrunnen was shockingly expensive. There was also a dining room connected to the kitchen where you can eat your home-cooked meal and enjoy a million-dollar-view of the Swiss mountains. The money spent on the private room was totally worth it and I've never stayed at a better hostel! " More >
