This Hotel is in a perfect location. So close to the beach yet far enough where it is quiet and peaceful. love their garden area, the koi pond and all the humming birds in the garden. Their complimentary continental breakfast was great!! LOVED every bit of it. And not to forget the Complimentary Wine and Cheese in the evenings (Thank you Laurie you were great!).   "GREAT STAY!!!"
  "Very quaint, cool hotel. Good location. Close enough to everything without being in the thick of the action. Neighboring buildings had construction going on, so you could hear that starting at about 9am. The non-view "standard" room is very small, and with no view, but we knew that going into it ..."as we are tight budget-wise. There is no elevator, but I'm young and appreciated the exercise ;). We loved Catalina, so we decided to stay another night. Our room was booked, so we got upgraded to a room with a view for the same cheap price! They didn't have to do this for us and it was GREATLY appreciated. This room was quiter, MUCH bigger, and had a "view". You could see the ocean and some boats, but there are tops of buildings in the way. We are not ones to sit around in the hotel out on the balcony spending a bunch of $$$ for a view, though, so that was fine with us. Overall, great stay, nice hotel, and very very nice staff. Check in is at the bottom of the hill at the sister property, so get your groceries for the ride up the hill on the golf..." cart. Obviously, the beach house is not actually on the beach.
