  "We really wanted to stay at this hotel because it is rated #1 on Tripadvisor and is a really good price. The first challenge is doing so - because you can't through Tripadvisor. So we googled it and went directly through their website, which wasn't an immediate confirmation, so if you want confirmat..."ion I would suggest calling them instead. Second problem was finding the place - [as usually in SE Asia] do NOT rely on Google Maps! If you look at that and try to find the place yourself by walking, you'll end up doing a massive trek around the wrong street into the army training centre. The hotel is in a sort of "laneway complex", and the hotel's sign into that has been damaged by someone. Note the address - you need to find street number 120 on Nguyen Thien Thuat, which is actually a laneway, not a building... then walk down the laneway, at the end of which there is a big board map - find number 62 on that. Having said all that, I think the obvious suggestion is to get a tuk-tuk or taxi... " More >

  "brilliant situation and excellent room"
  "i loved my 8 night stay in this hotel, i was on the 17th floor in a deluxe room with the most magnificent views of the beach and ocean, i could even see the views from the shower in the luxury bathroom, awesome, but if you wanted privacy there was a sliding wall/partition that separates the bathroom..." from the bedroom, however i was alone so it suited me to keep it open. Although it had a great balcony i rarely used it as the room offered equal views and was so bright and open, the bed was huge and so comfy, crisp cotton sheets and there was plenty of space in the room with a split level area with mini bar for relaxing in an armchair .. large flat screen TV and wifi wghich worked brilliantly (but the hotel also offered wired connection from your room if you had problems) however i had incredibly fast internet access on my laptop the best i have had in the whole of my travels.   "Loved this place , apart from being directly across the road from the gorgeous beach this hotel was amazing and made my stay extra special. The staff were friendly efficient and always helpful went above and beyond to help with anything. The breakfast was great a good variety each day as we stayed 5..." nights. The food was always fresh the soups were amazing. The rooms were a good size and the views from the balcony were lovely.
