  "we stayed at the 35 rooms for 5 nights in May 2013, having booked a 2 bedroom apartment. As a group of four (1 couple + 2 other persons) the rooms + the living area perfectly suited our needs. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms not immensly spacious but still big enough fo a week-long stay. Ba..."throoms are clean, but you won't manage to take a shower without setting parts of the floor under water. Living area comes with kitchenette (only basic dishware, but a large fridge including minibar) and SAT TV. Soundproofing is good, which is important because of traffic + backup generators. Staff is super friendly, helpful and attentive. They even managed the street parking fees for our rental car. If you come to Beirut th first time, their airport pick-up service (27$) is recommended. Wifi is complimentary. The location is great (1 Block from Hamra st), everything you need is within 300 meters walking distance and you can easily direct taxi drivers to Hamra street and let them drop... " More >

Bathroom was clean although it had a strong smell from an apparently strong detergent - could deal with this, as the bathroom had a window tha could be opened. The locations is very good, just two blocks from Hamra, everything you need in 500 m walking distance. tucked away on a small side street from Leon, taxi driver might have difficulties to find it. Best is to get dropped off on the corner of Hamra an walk up to the hotel. Contrary to some reviews, there is a huge breakfast selection, although with a clear emphasis on Lebanese foods.
