  "Stayed for 3 nights with my husband and my parents in two separate rooms, with views to the Rambla, which is very nice. The location of the hotel is great - close to the Ciudad Vieja (Old City) and 18 de Julio - but be careful walking around at night, as after dark Montevideo is not that safe anymor..."e. The rooms are very comfortable, but you can hear people from other rooms through the ventilation in the toilets - and this also means that you may smell cigarette smoke, as some floors have rooms where smoking is allowed, and the smell comes through the ventilation system. Other than that, staff is helpful, but check-in and check-out took forever, and I'm not sure why. Breakfast is good, and on the roof top there's a small gym and heated pool, with sunbath chairs, and the view is nice. " More >
