  "We spent one night at the Bivouac as part of a three night trip with Hassan and Merzouga Experience and it was a real highlight. I almost don't want to spoil the surprise of how good the camp was, so let's just say it was more like "glamping" then camping!! The camel ride was just the right le..."ngth - not too short, not too long, with stops on the way to watch the sun set and the sun rise (all perfectly timed!) The Tajine was the best we had in Morocco (thanks Yussuf!) - so flavoursome! And most importantly, there was plenty of it - I would have hated to be left hungry in the desert! With full bellies, we could then simply lie back in comfort to contemplate the vastness of the desert and the beauty of the stars - truly amazing.   "On the recommendation of a friend I stayed here last night. It's a very peaceful spot close to the largest dunes. All sorts of activities can be arranged by Ali but I didn't have time to try them out. The meals served by the pool were very good, the staff courteous, wifi was strong and available in ..."the rooms. If you would like a beer the staff will direct you to another Auberge where you can buy takeaways and store them in the fridge at home ! " More >
