  "This is the true beauty of Fiji - great food, friendly people and relaxing white sand beaches. We only stayed 3 nights but I wish it was longer. There is a beautiful coral reef on the Northern beach (comes with anemones with clown fish) and the beaches are so nice you wish there were more hours in..." the day. The food was good but has been Westernised a bit too much for my liking (compared to my previous visit to Mana 8 years ago). The staff were great and the rooms were in good working order, however, some minor refurbishments are becoming necessary. They are recovering from some serious damage which makes some changes to things, would have been nicer if they had let us know before we arrived (South Beach restaurant and Horizon Pool were closed). The dive shop was a bit relaxed with their safety standards so unless you're experienced I wouldn't recommend them. Still, Mana Island remains one of my favorite places on earth and I would probably return a third time to this laid back b... " More >

  "Mana Lagoon Backpackers is a 3 star hostile located on a 5 star Island .I stayed there for a month brought my own parachute hammock and hung it between 2 palm trees right by the South Pacific Ocean and slept there every night that it didnt rain ( when it rained I slept in my bed ) this was the coole..."st place I have ever slept in my life !!! The following are activites that the hostile kept me busy doing : Fishing $40 per person while we were fishing 3 dolphins came and jumped around the boat I have never seen dolphins in the wild before ( it was magical !! ) I learned how to scuba dive took the padi course ( one of the cheapest place to take it in the world and it was amazing !! ) I played volleyball almost every day , we hiked up the 2 lookout points on the Island a good time to do it is at sunset awsome views ,Bikini inspector lots of HOT girls in there Bikinis 24/7 hahaha , did some amazing snorkeling off of the amazing beaches and saw turtles and sharks , They arranged a party for... What we wanted: A family holiday (with 16 month old) with beautiful beaches, nice accommodation, good food, and friendly staff. The Room: Deluxe Oceanview Bure: Gorgeous, on North Beach, was cleaned daily before 1pm at the latest with fresh towels for both swimming and bathroom - cleaners did an amazing job and we loved coming back to a fresh room - room was modern with tasteful art and a nice modern bathroom.
