After we got there, the manager greeted us (he's really friendly & nice) and then he gave us a tour around the resort, then told us about few of the activities. We stayed in the over water bungalow. It was wonderful, there was a glass table where you could open the top and feed the fish and then there were stairs leading to the ocean so you could just swim. One thing I definitely recommend is the Picnic. A really nice man takes you to an island, and in between you fish for your own fish (you can catch A LOT really easily) Also, theres barely any people so it's a very nice quiet place where you can relax.   "Manihi is an atoll with very few people. The Pearl Beach resort is only about 2 minutes from the airport. Welcome was very friendly, location is superb. Food very good and not stupidly expensive. Great swimming pool and very picturesque. We were there to dive, but unusually high winds stopped that, ..."so we cut our stay from 7 days to 3 and moved to Pearl resort Moorea early. The manager was exceptionally helpful and organised the flight and hotel bookings for us and transferred a full refund for the unused nights to Moorea. We travel about 3 times a year and have never struck service as good as that - nothing was a problem. " More >

Wonderful walking along deserted beach collecting shells. Incredible drift snorkelling. Water was so clear, coral SOOOO colorful and healthy -- just breathtaking. When we went SCUBA diving I felt like I was in middle of a National Geographic documentary. Incredible coral far as the eye can see. And variety of marine life unimaginable. There was a guest who comes all the way from Italy every few months because, "according to me this is the best diving place in the world." Staff were all charming.
