Leslie looked after us there with a smile from the beginning, which was repeated by all the staff at every opportunity, from the rooms team to the gentleman tending the electric fence on the resort boundary (no unexpected wildlife required in the outdoor shower - fantastic experience, if slightly spooky before the 0600 game drives!) Once we'd had lunch, we were driven by electric buggy to our lodge by Esteban, who later helped us do archery and pellet gun shooting (very nominal charge) and could not have been more gen...   "My mother (85) and I visited Bakabung in late April/early May. We stayed at the Lodge for a 3 night dinner, bed and breakfast package, using the room for the physically disabled. All very comfortable and appropriate for folk with special needs, except for the bathroom door that didn't shut complet..."ely. The staff were freindly and very helpful, even supplying us with a wheelchair. To get to the dining room we had to use a most uneven pathway awful with a wheelchair. That being said, the food was scrumptious and plentiful and the dining room is very attractively decorated. Our game drives were excellent and the driver very knowledgeable and informative. We saw leopard, lion, elephant, rhino, hippo, various buck and a chameleon. Our one big disappointment was the cancellation of the boma braai due to a public holiday.
