The foreman, George, has been the foreman for more than 30 years - when he puts you on a mount, it'll be the right one. It's not a job for him; it's a life. The managers Jock and Pam didn't start as managers - Jock was a guest at the ranch for more than a decade. Their love for the place is palpable in every detail. All the little things done so right. The food that is exceptional, the pool that's sparkling clean, the grounds that are kept so beautifully, the graciousness that pervades every interaction with their guests. A much needed infusion of energy and capital by relatively new owners Lynne and Jerry have revived a venerable old dame of a motel, and the results are very good, with more to come. My room was spotl..."essly clean, and when I mentioned to Jerry that a glove had blown into the pool it was removed before I even got back to my room. All bedding appears to be new, and the mattress was very comfortable. Lots of hot water, and the tub actually drained faster than the shower could fill it, a seeming rarity these days except in very expensive hotels. Patagonia is a little gem of a town, easily walkable, frequented by birders, hikers, and tourists, and I would recommend the Stage Stop Inn to all. " More >

Not to mention the coffee pot the the mini fridge (which had some juice and oatmeal and a few other perfect thing that our family took advantage of) TV with Direct TV and AC available Kayti and David were available to answer any questions we had and welcomed us as we pulled into the drive way. We did travel with our boat and there was plenty of space for us to leave the boat when visiting with family. We also loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer available for us to use as we actually stayed an additional night.
