  "A great friendly place to stay, a 5 star in its own right!! All of the staff, housekeeping and waiters were more then accommodating. The food was great, from the excellent breakfast buffet (included) and the great daily dinner specials. Even a request for take out to the picnic table by the tenn..."is court was met with a quick reply "we will gladly bring it out to you" That's what we call friendly great service. At times, we felt like we were in Disney World with how clean the resort was and the friendliness of the staff. And must comment about what a big pool, that was always clean. Having said that, I firmly believe that all guests at the villas received the same attention, hospitality, and assistance that we were given. First, the accom..."modations are gorgeous. Sitting on a spit of land in the jungle above the sea, you are at home with the toucans and the capuchin monkeys. The villas each have a unique design to fit into the landscape. We stayed in the Monkey House. Climbing up the spiral staircase brings you to the balcony with its chairs and hammock. The sliding glass doors open into the living space - a comfortable bed on the left wall, and seating on the right. Straight ahead is the kitchen area with all you need for preparing and eating meals.   "I just want to share that we stayed at the Rio Mar for 7 nights and loved it. The rooms were nice, the grounds were immaculate and the food at the restaurant was incredibly tasty. We spent a bit of time at the pool and have no complaints whatsoever. It is a family hotel and we expected to see chil..."dren having fun.
