The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and while the decor is a little dated it's got a certain "cowboy" ch..."arm. The overall feel is very comfortable--- as if you're lounging in your own home. The included breakfasts were enormous and delicious. I was thrilled that I was served vegetarian dinner dishes made to order...Where does that ever happen? The room/food prices were right too. BUT for those of us who love "rustic"--is is very close to paradise! The little cabins are clean-- neat and the "resort" is in the most fragrant, beautiful..." mountains in northern California. If you expect anything flashy or up-to-date--you won't get it at the Mill Creek Lodge--but if you treasure quiet, peace and a restful atmosphere, without commercial hype--this is the place.
