We are staying in the Violet Cottage which is across the street from the main resort buildings. This room is fully equipped with plenty of storage, kitchen space and lounge spa..."ce as well as a private back deck. We initially asked for the Sunflower Cottage but both were available and the resort suggested we take this room as it was a bit bigger and only a few $ more per night. Although it was only my husband and I- we appreciated the extra space! The beach is the best part of this resort- quiet, gorgeous and everything we needed to relax for the day in the sun or shade. We rented a car and drove (and ate) all over Anna Maria as well as Sarasota, Bradenton and St. Armand's Circle (a MUST visit for shopping, dining and people watching).
