  "I stayed here recently on a trip to Destin for a conference. After booking my accomodations, I read the reviews here and I was starting to get nervous. Not a lot of positive things shared, but once I got there, I was impressed. First of all, the Sandestin resort is HUGE. I had no idea just how..." big it was and all of the places you could stay on the resort. I thought everything would be in walking distance, but its not. However, you can get a tram anywhere. The LeCiel Hotel was fine for my needs. The room was fine; it was clean and always cleaned at the end of the day. The front desk staff were amazing! There were about three female front desk staff that seemed to be there during my staff and all of them were friendly and offered lots of suggestions for places to go to eat, etc. Very helpful. Again, knowing nothing about this place when I book (it was booked for me through the confernece), upon checking in, the Front Desk Staff was able to get me a room on the Bay... " More >

  "Wonderful resort. Not beachside. Small, quaint, peaceful. Nice wine and cheese night on Tuesdays. Close to Seaside and 30A beaches. Get down to Sandestin if you haven't been here - it is worth the trip!"

The words, "white sugar sand" do not do it justice.....the beach is clean and perfect for walking, sitting and having your children play and make sand castles. The water is crystal clear and reminiscent of the azure Mediterranean Se..."a. We stayed in the Luau tower with a magnificent ocean view, and a short walking distance to the beach. We stayed at this resort in order to watch our son play in the NCAA Division 3 Golf Championships, mid -May. The only negative is that we were unable to take advantage of all of the amenities this resort has to offer. We do, however, plan to return so we can enjoy what this resort has to offer. " More >
