But the rooms were even smaller than I imagined. And you have to make and then strip your own beds -- not that big a deal, just be aware of that in advance -- we were not. We happened to be there at the same time as a group of middle schoolers, who were up late and loud, and then up early and loud. The rooms are simple and rustic with twin bunks. Being there in the winter, the highlights were probably the opportunity to go hiking and spend a weekend outdoors on a clear, cold day, but with hot coco and a hot shower at the end of the day instead of huddling for warmth in a tent.   "After hiking for hours through the cold, windy rain of a mid-spring day, the Inn was literally a beacon of shelter in the midst of a storm! Knowing now, what I didn't know then, I'd hike ten more miles to stay there again! The Inn was everything we expected it to be and nothing less. The bunk rooms..." are just that... Bunk rooms. not Spa suites or poolside studios, just Primitive Bunkroom Grandeur. 2 cozy bunks, 1 light, I fan, 1 radiant heat panel ... ooh-La-La! The property was very clean, the entire Staff was courteous, attentive and most informative and the place was well stocked with relaxing ambiance! The Stay here includes a gently disciplined regimen of 'dressing out' your own bunk (they hand you a sheet & linen bag with your room key), dining on a specific schedule and refraining from modern technology as much as possible (no T.V.'s and no talking on C phones in group areas).
