From the front gate to the beach club to the main hotel there was not one thing they missed. Everyone went out of their way to meet your ..."every need. We stayed in the beach villas, which were beautiful. Full kitchen, beautiful patio, well appointed bedrooms. The beach club is a great place to have a glass of wine and lunch. Great views! I could walk around the main hotel for hours. It's a great place for couples or families. We are hoping to take our girls back this summer. " More >

  "We've been wanting to visit The Cloister for years and it did not disappoint. The hotel is gorgeous and the grounds are immaculate. We stayed in a two bedroom ocean villa and it was enormous and well appointed. The ocean villas are, in my opinion, far away from the main activities and restaurants..." at the hotel, but the hotel will shuttle you around in a golf cart. I was glad we rented our own golf car though so we didn't have to wait around to be shuttled. The concierge gave us the information for a rental agency and they delivered the cart when we arrived. Most of the action, especially for kids, happens at the beach club so stay there if you want to be in the heart of things. The ocean villas were great though and have a really nice private pool and hot tub where we never saw another person. We ate at all of the restaurants, more than once, and enjoyed them all.
