  "My wife and I stayed at the Smith's B&B on two occasions and we plan to return any time we visit the University of Iowa for the Summer Writing Festival Workshops. The home is beautiful and your hosts, Mark and Beth are personable, warm & charming. My wife and I like to stay in the downstairs room ..."because it affords us great privacy and has its own separate entrance. The home has a lovely enclosed porch for reading and napping and there is even a piano to play if you are so inclined. Mark is a talented massage therapist so that is another added bonus. The Smith's B&B is about a fifteen minute walk to campus. It is also a short walk to the river and the park and you have easy access to stores, restaurants and places of worship. We never have t rent a car in Iowa City and we always look forward to returning here. We highly recommend the Smiths B&B to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable and friendly place to stay while in Iowa City. " More >
