  "This family-run motel offered warm, friendly service in a cozy atmosphere. Our family of 4 had booked a 2-queen bedroom which was located on the top floor of a 2-storey block. Only problem with the room were the thin floorboards - we had to tread lightly to avoid making too much noise for occupants in the room below. There is no lift, so those with elderly or lots of luggage might want to consider a ground-floor room. The location was good and safe with easy access to highways. Though it was at a traffic junction, it was not noisy. Skaket Corners, a small shopping centre with Shaws and CVS was directly opposite the motel. The motel could be accessed from 6A directly if coming off US-6 or from Lots Hollow Rd off Eldredge Parkway (which is recommended if coming from downtown Orleans on 6A heading west).   "Very clean! Beautiful view! Nice staff. Close to major road on the Cape. Enjoyed our 4 night stay! Has a pool. Great seating area for reading. Definitely a great place to stay while visiting the Cape. Close to all attractions!"

Needless to say we couldn't sleep and my wife was so cold she started to shake uncontrollably. We drove down rt 6A and came upon Skaket Motel. It was 3 in the m..."orning so the office was closed. I used the phone outside to call and ask for a room, and the owner, Mrs Patel, answered promptly and in 3 minutes she was at the office checking me in. She was so kind and professional, even late at night. The room was clean and comfy. We really appreciated the service we got. My wife was very thankful. " More >
