Having stayed in a couple of bed & breakfast inns in the past my level of expectations were pretty tempered, well the Clark House put to shame any other similar facility..." I had stayed in. My wife was completely taken by the Clark House and we stayed and additional night. The grounds are nice and well kept. The back area of the property is lush and green and parking is perfect. The main house upon entering should make you smile if not drop your jaw open a little bit. As a photographer I really enjoy nice artwork and design. The Clark House features beautiful artwork that should provide satisfaction to almost anyone. The choice of paint colors and furnishings is top-notch.   "We stayed one night; we were just passing through on the tail end of a trip. On the afternoon arrived, we were told not to finish checking in right away, because the blues-man playing at the time was almost finished with his set and we should instead sit and have a beer and listen to some music. T..."hat was absolutely correct. So we did. Then afterwards we checked into the sunflower shack, which was great. Spacious and homey with excellent porches for reading in the sun. After dinner, we wandered over to the bar for more music. The next morning, more porch-time and coffee before we had to leave. When we checked out I was shocked at how low the bill was; I asked if something had been left off. The answer: No, its just that reasonable. I am excited to go back. " More >
