  "It's not fancy, it's not up to date, the maintenance needs are many, BUT it does not smell bad and is not dirty. So --- It's OK. This place is much cheaper than the hotels in Starkville (home of Mississippi State) and only about 35 minutes from campus. So it is convenient to stay on the way or ..."the way back if approaching from the south (i.e. Jackson area). The breakfast is minimal like most Quality Inns, but is passable. Nearby places to eat - Pizza Hut, McDonald's, Subway, and Chinese restaurant next to Subway. And there is a Mexican restaurant (Mi Rodeo) right next door (see separate review). Also Walmart is just down the street. Bottom line - it's a good hotel for the price paid. " More >
