  "My boyfriend and I chose the Howard Johnson Inn Clifton in for a quick weekend to Manhattan It is quick walk - less than 5 minutes - to New York Bus and everything it has to offer! We checked in on a Friday night and were given a very satisfactory room, although it did not include a Manhattan view ..."(unless you put your head against the window and looked to the right). However, we were still very happy. When it came time to go to sleep we noticed that the room was chilly. We were unable to operate the heating unit so we called the front desk for assistance. Even thought it was 2 in the morning, with-in minutes someone came up to our room. When he, too, was unable to operate the heating system we were offered another room. I have to say I am SO glad the heat in our original room didn't work because the room we were relocated to was AMAZING. In fact, I think it was the room pictured on this page!
