  "My family has been staying at Tall Pines resort for over 50 years. Let me say this first: if you want to be in a picturesque natural setting, this place is for you. It is on the edge of town tucked deep with beautiful fir, spruce, and aspen trees with the Red River flowing through the entire resort...." The huge lake is stocked with large rainbow trout perfect for fly or reel fishing. The cabins are beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and a good size for a couple or a large family.   "This is a great place to stay - our third over-night visit on the way to Taos and Santa Fe. Beautiful mountain sceney, with Red River right off the deck. Very welcoming people (Mike and Courtney), good rates, very clean and inviting. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Love it!"
