There is a petrol station nearby, that also sells alcohol and has a laundromat. We picked the Barolo room and the king size bed was really comfortable and big. His unique personality and good intentions make up for the few short-comings of this charming B&B. Breakfast was adequate (included some fruit, juice, coffee and selection of teas). I noticed that he went out of his way to please another (vegan) guest who was a picky eater. Our room had an outdoor stairway with a veranda type terrace, which, while not as finished as some would like, was private enough for us, functional, made for more living space and gave us an area to get plenty of fresh mountain air and enjoy the rustic charm of the adjacent, low-maintenance hilly garden.
