  "We have stayed here on several occasions, the hotel is very warm and inviting, it feels like a home away from home. The lobby and breakfast area are very nice, as well as the indoor pool which also has a small exercise room next to it. We enjoyed to walk over to the nearby Starbucks to get coffee a..."nd then would return to sit by the fireplace in the lobby. The rooms are very comfortable and clean; we had a one bedroom suite with a small living area and kitchen. Both the bedroom and the living room have nice flat screen tv's. The hotel offers a nice breakfast each morning. We like that you are in walking distance to restaurants and stores, very convenient location.   "Was great to be back to do "move out" for our daughter! This little hotel is a great retreat. We chose a king suite again which gave us ample space for three. Our room had a nice view of the creek, last time we stayed we faced the parking lot which was fine also. We did notice that phone recepti..."on on our Droid phones did not work as well as our IPhones did on this side of the building for some reason. Internet worked fine so able to get some work done also. Staff is still wonderful. Was able to have breakfasts on this stay and they have a basic selection of fruit, hard boiled eggs and selection of breads, as well as ready made breakfast sandwiches OR make your own waffles. Hot & cold breakfast beverages available. Nice to sit in breakfast room for early morning view of the Wappinger creek and the geese.
