The pool is a fantastic temperature, which must cost Ambuj a lot, but that's indicative of his extra-mile style. He's a great cook too. The meal he brought us on our last night was superb - and just the fact he did that for us really touched us. This was the first time we've had this kind of holiday close to home in New Zealand. We usually go overseas. My hopes for Coromandel accommodation weren't that high, but it turns out we got to spend a wonderful week in one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, anywhere.
